Flights and logistics: Adventure pur sang

There is only one flight a week between Ulaanbaatar and Moron.
Due to late decisions on the winter to “summer” shift of internal flight schedules, some logistical last minute changes had to be made.

On April the second we’ll fly from Brussels to Prague and continue via Moscow to Ulaanbaatar. But instead of flying directly from the Capital to Moron, we will cover the 700 km distance by car, driving to Moron and then to Khatgal, where Joël, Bayana and of course the dogs will be waiting for us !

“Give me snow, give me dogs; you can keep the rest", said polar explorer Knud Rasmussen. We totally agree, although we wouldn't mind a beautiful blue sky and a whole lot of sunshine
The average covered distance by car is 100km/3h.
This is all part of our first Mongolian adventure, no complaints from us!
After the expedition, the return to the Capital will be by plane.
A winter expedition is definitely not a sinecure to organize. We are lucky to have a logistical base camp both in Belgium (BILS EXCLUSIVE TRAVEL) and in Mongolia ( WIND OF MONGOLIA).

Being constantly in contact, they take care of the flights and all the logistics so that we can concentrate on the preparation for the expedition itself.

Thank you Bart, thank you Julien!
